In this image I captured repetition.
I think this was my most successful image because in nature it is hard to find such repetition.
The most challenging part of this assignment was to always be thinking of cool pictures to capture in the moment, as I found my pictures in nature and did not stage anything.
To create stronger images in the future I need to see more examples of the techniques before taking my photos.
"Hey! I really like your image! I think this was really successful in being monochromatic. It is cool how the oven itself is not red but the fire glow makes it red. I think the only thing that could make this better would be to hold your camera in closer to the fire, or maybe even just crop out the non red parts!"
Hey Jenna! I enjoy looking at this photo! I think repetition can be difficult to make interesting, but you have nailed it! The composition is great and works so well with the natural light that draws the focus of the eyes right down the center between the line of trees. - Derek Jones
